ANNOUNCEMENT Honorable colleagues, Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation is honoured to invite you to take part in the International Conference “STATUS AND PERSPECTIVES OF DISASTER MEDICINE OF THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION” which will take place from 3 to 6 June 2008 at Central Military Recreation House “Podmoskovie”. During the first day of the Conference the delegates will take part in plenary sessions where the reports on various problems of modern disaster medicine will be made. The second day will be dedicated to FIELD TACTICAL EXERCISE during which the practical work of medical unit of special assignment will be demonstrated. REGISTRATION of the participants will take place on 3 June 2008 at the Conference site – Central Military Recreation House “Podmoskovie” in Moscow region. Opening CEREMONY of the Conference will be held on 4 June at 10.00. During the Conference an exhibition of modern medical equipment, drugs and medical literature will be held. The Conference fee of 350 euro includes admission to all scientific sessions, exhibition and field exercise, Conference materials (bag, final program, abstract volume, badge), coffee breaks, meals during the conference, opening ceremony and gala-dinner, transfers from and to the airport, certificate of attendance. Please provide the list of attendants indicating rank, full name, date and place of birth, passport data and place where Russian visa will be obtained before 15 April 2008. The abstracts of your reports are accepted for publication in the Conference Abstracts Book until 30 April 2008.
