Dear colleagues,
The Thirteenth Russian National Congress “People & Health” will take place in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on 25-28 November, 2008.
The Congress is dedicated to the memory of the prominent scientists German Albrecht and Genrich Turner.
2008 is the 150th anniversary of professor G. Turner and a 130th anniversary of professor G. Albrecht, being alongside with professor
R. Vreden the founders of the Russian trauma surgery, orthopedics, and prosthetics. Young specialists should know and remember the names a
nd achievements of their predecessors to preserve and continue the best traditions of Russian and world medicine in trauma surgery, orthopedics,
prosthetics, and rehabilitation of disabled people.
The experience of Congress delegates and the results of the Congress promote to successful fulfillment of a priority national project “Health”.
It is the health grounds of each person and the whole society that affects the future of a country, both economic, scientific-technical, and
cultural.
